Sid Kipper: An Evening Of Folk & Comedy
Sid Kipper swam, fully formed, from the belly of the legendary Kipper Family.
Over the last decade or so he has developed his epic tale of the village of St Just-near-Trunch, and his friends, enemies and relatives, in 6 albums, 5 books, 2 series for Radio 2, a podcast for Channel 4 Radio and numerous festivals.
He writes, records, broadcasts, sings songs, tells stories, acts, and plays a bewildering array of equally bewildering instruments. He is a fantastically funny stand-up, musician and storyteller.
“Should remind you of Sir Henry at Rawlinson End, with a dash of Flann O’Brien. Very funny” – The Guardian
