Author Rich Wiles will visit Hebden Bridge Library on Wednesday 17 March at 6.30pm to promote his new book about life in Palestine. Hull-born Rich Wiles is a photographer and journalist who has lived for several years in Aida Refugee Camp, Bethlehem.

Over 200 locals came together on Sunday to celebrate the unveiling of a new sculpture in St Michael’s Square, Mytholmroyd. The Bishop of Wakefield, Rt. Rev. Stephen Platten, led the event to mark the opening of the ‘spiritual heart’ for the town.
