Local Charities Receive A Christmas Bonus
A total of £700 was raised for two local charities at Ogden Water Country Park. Councillor Ian Cooper presented a cheque for £350 to Overgate Hospice at the weekend. Another £350 was also presented to local charity Total Awareness Promotions.

Calderdale Council is offering late night shoppers across Calderdale free parking in the run up to Christmas. The Council are supporting local shops during the run up to Christmas by ensuring all pay and display parking bays are free of charge after 3.00 pm on late night shopping days.
Calderdale Council Committed To Improving Standards
Calderdale Council has welcomed the findings of this year’s annual assessment by the Care Quality Commission. But the Council says much still needs to be done to ensure that the borough’s most vulnerable residents receive the help they need.
