Acclaimed Author To Visit Hebden Bridge Library
Cath Staincliffe, author of the acclaimed Sal Kilkenny Mysteries, will be reading from her new novel The Kindest Thing on Friday 4th June at Hebden Bridge Library.
The book tells the story of Deborah, who conceals the truth after helping her beloved husband end his life and is charged with murder. As the trial unfolds and her daughter testifies against her, Deborah must defend her actions whilst still reeling with grief.
The author and scriptwriter of ITV’s hit police series, Blue Murder, was shortlisted for the CWA Dagger in The Library Award 2006 and is part of Murder Squad, a collective of seven crime writers from the North of England.
The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £2 (£1.50 concessions).
