Exhibition Opening At The Bear Cafe
Todmorden’s Bear Café will be open this evening (25th June) to host a special preview of the exhibition “The Big Gay Jump a Day Project” as part of the Hebden Bridge Arts Festival 2009.
Rae Parkinson, the artist behind the exhibition, has created a photographic diary following a lesbian’s whimsical New Years resolution to jump with a different gay woman each day for a year. The exhibition runs from Friday June 26th to Sunday July 12th.
The preview evening begins at 7pm with a complimentary glass of sangria for all on arrival. The café will also be serving platters & light bites from 7-9pm.
The Bear Café, 29 Rochdale Road, Todmorden (opp. Tod Library).
