Kerbside Issue To Be Raised At Calderdale MBC Meeting
On Wednesday 18th February at 6pm, the issue of Kerbside will again be raised at a full Calderdale MBC meeting. Councillors from non-Conservative parties are still discussing the content of what will be proposed. This will include a call for an independent enquiry into the tendering process. The meeting is open to the public, therefore if any Hebden Bridge residents wish to show their support for Kerbside, they are welcome to attend.
Kerbside continues to pursue their research into a legal challenge, and their volunteer legal team has now expanded to three. The company is waiting to hear from
Westminster to establish whether they can sell their recycling credits to other local authorities. This would provide a significant cash injection.
