Local Businessman Targeted By Internet Hackers
Jason Elliott, boss of British recycled Products and website publisher, appears to have been under sustained attack by internet hackers over the past few days. Several of Mr. Elliott’s business websites, alongside his own personal website, have been taken offline.
At the beginning of this week, Jason Elliott’s personal website was the initial target of the hackers, then as the week progressed further attacks were made on British Recycled Products , British Recycled Plastics, British Recycled Rubber and also Box 4 Fitness a website promoting fitness classes. Yesterday, insulting messages were added to a replacement page published on the British Recycled Products website.
It is unclear as yet whether any sensitive information such as business or customer details have been compromised by the hackers, or if security issues have now been rectified.
The entrepreneur, environmentalist and website developer Jason Elliott, has published holding pages on most of the affected websites, stating that they are currently down for maintenance.
