Council To Discuss Support For Retailers In Hebden
Local retailers could be set to get a helping hand at Christmas from Calderdale Council. Members of Calderdale Council’s Cabinet will discuss a proposal to provide an £88,000 package to help reduce the number of empty shops in the borough and encourage people to buy locally over the Christmas period when they meet next Monday (Sept 13th).
Grand Opening For New Memorial Gardens
Royd Regeneration and Calderdale Council are inviting the people of Mytholmroyd to celebrate the re-opening of the newly refurbished Memorial Gardens on Burnley Road. A grand opening ceremony will take place from 2pm on Saturday 11th September. World War II veteran, Lesley Stewart, will cut the ribbon to mark the completion of the project to re-model the gardens.
